AAMP Global Warranty Policy

Unless otherwise noted below, products sold by AAMP Global under the American International, Best Kit, EchoMaster, iSimple, PAC, Phoenix Gold, and Stinger brand names carry a one-year warranty for Manufacturer defect. AAMP’s warranty is for credit or replacement of product except where otherwise noted and does not cover installation or other costs associated with replacement or exchange. Abuse or misuse of product voids all warranties.

 

Exceptions

Cameras
1-year warranty as determined by the serial number or date code on the unit.  Based on this code, a receipt may be required to substantiate warranty.

Pro Cameras
3-year warranty as determined by the serial number or date code on the unit.  Based on this code, a receipt may be required to substantiate warranty.

Sensors
1-year warranty as determined by the serial number or date code on the unit.  Based on this code, a receipt may be required to substantiate warranty.

Pro Sensors
3-year warranty as determined by the serial number or date code on the unit.  Based on this code, a receipt may be required to substantiate warranty.

 

Consumers will be directed back to the original place of purchase OR distributor for warranty service.

Integrated Kits (RPK):

The serial number should be provided when requesting warranty service.  If the serial number shows the kit is over a year from the original date of purchase, a receipt will be required to substantiate warranty.

 

Amplifiers, RX series
Standard warranty is one year.  The warranty can be extended if the unit is installed by an authorized PG dealer and if a Stinger wiring kit is used for the install.  Each of these will extend the warranty by 1 year for a maximum of 3 years warranty.  Proof of sale, install, and use of Stinger wiring kit MUST be provided to establish warranty for the product if service is requested after 1 year from the date of purchase by the authorized PG dealer.  Requests for warranty service must include serial number and nature of the defect.  (Tech Tickets are strongly recommended.)  Warranty service may be refused if it is found that the unit was misused, abused, or physically damaged.

 

Amplifiers, SX series

Basscube
Warranty is 1 year from date of sale; a receipt of sale may be required to substantiate warranty if the serial number of the unit is over 1 year from date of purchase from AAMP.

 

DSP
Warranty is 1 year from the date of sale; all returns must be pre-qualified by Technical Support prior to the issuance of an RA.  A receipt may be required as well to establish warranty.  Units may be evaluated upon receipt; units that are found to perform within standard specifications may be returned to the customer.

 

Equalizer
Warranty is 1 year from date of sale; a receipt of sale may be required to substantiate warranty if the serial number of the unit is over 1 year from date of purchase from AAMP.

 

Integrated units (subwoofer with amplifier)
Warranty is 1 year from date of sale.  Requests made for warranty service must include serial number; receipts may be required to establish a warranty for the serial number.  Upon review, a field destroy authorization will be sent to the authorized PG dealer and the dealer MUST provide proof of destruction with a clear picture of the serial number from the original request.

 

Speakers, coaxial
1-year warranty as determined by the serial number on the unit.  Serialized units are sold in pairs and warrantied as such.  The serial number must be reported when the warranty request is made, and a receipt may be required to establish a warranty for the serial number.  Once the warranty request has been approved for the product, authorized PG dealers will be allowed to field destroy the units.  Units are credited to the customer at their original purchase price; units will NOT be replaced. Consumers should seek a warranty service through an authorized Phoenix Gold retailer.

 

Speakers, component
1-year warranty as determined by the serial number on the unit.  Warranty service will depend on the nature of the defect.  Defective tweeters and crossovers will be replaced; defective drivers will be warrantied like the coaxial speakers (serial number must be reported, and a receipt may be required to establish warranty).  Once the warranty request has been approved for the drivers, authorized PG dealers will be allowed to field destroy the units.  Units are credited to the customer at their original purchase price; units will NOT be replaced.  Consumers should seek warranty service through an authorized Phoenix Gold retailer.

 

 

 

Batteries (SPV)
One-year warranty provided; units are date coded and the date code must be provided to substantiate the warranty.  If the date code does not adequately substantiate warranty; a receipt of sale may be requested for this purpose.  Swelling caused by incorrect maintenance of the battery will not be covered.

 

Batteries (SPP/SPX/SEA)
Three-year warranty provided; units are date coded and the date code must be provided to substantiate the warranty.  If the date code does not adequately substantiate warranty; a receipt of sale may be requested for this purpose.  Swelling caused by incorrect maintenance of the battery will not be covered.

 

Battery Charger (SBC6A)
1-year warranty is provided for the unit.  The date-coded product is for evaluation/replacement upon return.  Any modification of the unit (i.e. cable cut) voids the warranty.

 

Connection Hardware, Distribution Blocks, Interconnects, Power Terminals
Limited lifetime warranty against defect.  Non-defective returns will only be issued for current SKUs.

 

Elev8 (UN1880)
Warranty is 1 year from the date of sale; all returns must be pre-qualified by Technical Support prior to the issuance of an RA.  A receipt may be required as well to establish warranty.  Units may be evaluated upon receipt; units that are found to perform within standard specifications may be returned to the customer.

 

Harley Complete Audio Upgrade Kit
Kit components have a 1-year warranty from date of sale.  The serial number should be provided when requesting warranty service.  If the serial number shows the kit is over a year from the original date of purchase, a receipt will be required to substantiate warranty.  Components may be replaced at AAMP’s discretion.

 

Marine/Powersports Amplifiers (SPX)
1-year warranty as determined by the serial number on the unit.  The serial number should be provided when requesting warranty service.  If the serial number shows the kit is over a year from the original date of purchase, a receipt will be required to substantiate warranty.

 

Marine/Powersports Speakers (SEA)
1-year warranty as determined by the serial number on the unit.  Serialized units are sold in pairs and warrantied as such.  The serial number must be reported when the warranty request is made, and a receipt may be required to establish a warranty for the serial number.  Once the warranty request has been approved for the product, authorized PG dealers will be allowed to field destroy the units.  Units are credited to the customer at their original purchase price; units will NOT be replaced.

 

Power Supplies (SPS)
Units have a 1-year warranty.  These date-coded units are for repair only.  Any modification of the unit (i.e. cut plug) will void the warranty.  Out of warranty repair service is available; contact your salesman or Customer Solutions for a quote.

 

Wire
Returns are not accepted for this product except in cases of known manufacturer defects.

 

Roadkill (RKX)
Returns are not accepted for this product except in cases of known manufacturer defects

 

 

Please Note:  Brands/Product distributed by AAMP Global carry vendor-issued warranty guidelines.

ADS
1-year warranty for the product.  Must be returned completely to receive full credit.

 

Arctic Start
1-year warranty for the product.  Must be returned completely to receive full credit.

 

GPS Units
Service is available through AAMP though it is recommended that customers contact the vendor for support (301-866-1990, Insight Mobile Data).

 

Thinkware
Returns must be qualified by Thinkware Support prior to the issuance of an RA.  All returned units will be evaluated by Thinkware.  Units found to be operating within standard specifications may be returned to the customer.  Cameras have a 1-year warranty (verified by serial number) while SD cards have a 6-month warranty.
