Customer Solutions Specialist

The Customer Solutions Specialist is responsible for providing high-level customer service to both external and internal customers. Specialists provide customers with in-depth knowledge of company products and promotions. This role is part of an effective and collaborative team in order to process customer orders or returns according to the established company policies and procedures. The CS Specialist will also assist inbound callers to either route them to the correct extension or assist with their inquiries.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sales teams to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Provide out of office coverage with CS team for Sales Staff.
  • Exceed customer service expectations with timely and accurate responses to requests.
  • Assist any CS team member with workload overflow.
  • Invoice processed return authorizations per established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Technical Services department to resolve customer service related issues.

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to provide the highest quality customer service.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, whether on the phone, in person, or via e-mail.
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and work effectively towards deadlines.

Required Education and Experience:

Embedded Firmware Engineer

We are currently seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our engineering team. As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you are responsible for the design, development and validation of the next generation of in-vehicle electronic solutions and infrastructure.


What you are signing up for…
The position will be based in our Clearwater, FL headquarters reporting to the Director of Engineering. The person in this job will be primarily responsible for firmware development of after-market automotive electronic products in the infotainment or safety space. This includes products related to vehicle headunit\radio replacement, audio interfacing, vehicle camera systems, and\or smart device connectivity.


In this role, you will analyze product requirements, select appropriate technologies, determine OEM vehicle systems interfacing requirements, develop embedded hardware and software solutions, and perform in-vehicle testing. This position is best suited for a motivated individual, who enjoys collaborating with a close-knit, skilled, multi-discipline, small to medium sized engineering team and thrives on solving problems and learning new technologies. You work well with others but are self-sufficient and leverage your engineering experience to architect and develop quality products and encourage others by example. You are driven by the need to ‘wear many hats’ and enjoy being exposed to wide ranging technologies like MCU development, audio processing, video systems, RF technologies, databases, PC applications, mobile applications and more.

 

Key Responsibilities:
▪ Work closely with the Product Management group to determine project requirements and priorities

▪ Be solely responsible for a project, or lead or participate in a small development team
▪ Manage workload on multiple simultaneous projects with fast design cycles
▪ Develop design documentation, flow charts and implementation work breakdown

▪ Utilize collaboration and version control tools

▪ Perform board bring-up of prototype units

Requirements:
▪ An undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or similar; 7+ years of progressive engineering experience
▪ Demonstrated ability to take a project from scoping requirements, through design and implementation
▪ Expert knowledge of the C programming language
▪ Comprehensive experience with design and development of firmware for microcontrollers
▪ Experience with ARM Cortex-M MCU firmware development (e.g. NXP Kinetis or LPC, STM32)
▪ Experience with serial protocols and low-level drivers (e.g. I2C, SPI, USB, CAN, UART, etc.)
▪ Experience with custom board bring-up
▪ Experience with ‘bare metal’ firmware development
▪ Experience with RTOS based firmware development
▪ Excellent problem-solving, design, development, and debugging skills
▪ Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with peers in cross functional areas; work cooperatively with management
▪ Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
▪ Experience in a small R&D organization is preferred

Engineering Project Manager

AAMP Global is a leading manufacturer of in-vehicle technology. We are currently seeking a resourceful Project Manager to help deliver products that are designed and built by our automotive technology R&D team. In this role, you will work with the Engineering leaders, and the Product Managers to establish project pre-requisites, project timelines, available staff, and delivery plans.

 

What you are signing up for…

The position will be based in our Clearwater, FL headquarters reporting to the VP of Research and Development. The person in this job will be primarily responsible for creating project timelines and reporting on progress with inputs from the various contributing groups in the company. This person will need to work closely with Product Management for requirements, Engineering for staff availability and estimates, and company leadership for reporting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and proactively manage detailed project plans, working closely with product and engineering resources
  • Work closely with Product Management for requirements definition at the beginning of the projects.
  • Work directly with the engineering team to estimate the work, allocate available staff, and establish a detailed schedule for development.
  • Meet regularly with the team to capture progress and identify anything that might change the timeline
  • You will leverage resources, including project stakeholders to gather additional information to ensure development team has all the information needed to complete developer tasks on-schedule.
  • Assist in writing user stories and tasks for development team to execute
  • Assist in breaking larger project work down to smaller pieces for team to execute
  • Update project documentation and project plan regularly
  • Help manage multiple projects with shared resources among projects
  • Help solve scheduling conflicts when they come up
  • Help facilitate flexibility in the organization when changes are needed or issues are encountered.
  • Provide updates on project status to leadership through available tools and report functions.
  • Manage workload on multiple simultaneous projects with fast design cycles

 

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of experience creating detailed project plans, coordinating project information on engineering projects, preferably in the hardware and software space.
  • Proficient use of project planning/management tools like MS Project or similar
  • Familiarity with software development processes
  • Experience with project lifecycle management from requirements through delivery
  • Experience with common tools such as Jira and Confluence for documentation and reporting

IT Systems Administrator

The IT Systems Administrator will oversee all computing, networking, and cloud systems for our United States entities. This position manages systems, software, preforms installation and maintenance of equipment, and maintains computer networks and connectivity. The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring the continued smooth running of the operation from an IT perspective including working help desk tickets and our telephony.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preforming daily operations of all IT systems infrastructure, including telephony, VMware, Windows Active Directory, Office365, & Domain services within the US
  • Work on Level 1, 2, & 3 helpdesk tickets from user issues and setups to full system and network integrations
  • Ensuring the security, efficiency and stability of all IT systems for all users
  • Manage and oversee the BCP process including, evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup procedures. Ensuring that all mechanisms for system restore and disaster recovery are in place, robust and have been proven to work.
  • Preform IT support, including training, communication and orientation for new equipment and new and existing users
  • Delivering all IT requirements throughout the business in a timely manner
  • Oversee troubleshooting/repair where necessary for all IT related issues – managing the employee helpdesk system resolving issues promptly and efficiently
  • Track inventory and status for hardware and software throughout the organization, ensuring all equipment can be located and is recovered/reallocated where necessary
  • Developing/contributing to the global strategy for the future advancement of the business systems infrastructure
  • Oversee and advise on the organizations IT equipment, networking and connectivity needs, aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements
  • Assess and purchase new and replacement hardware, parts and services accordingly
  • Manage our infrastructure environments and SaaS applications including Duo Security, Last Pass, Avaya, cPanel, BarTender, O365, SQL, ESET Endpoint protection, Veeam, VMware, Manage Engine Desktop Central, PowerShell and Bynder
  • Regular liaison with all departments, including human resources to identify employee needs in the hiring and exit process
  • Research and remain up to date and proficient regarding all new IT equipment/solutions and advise the business as necessary

 

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Windows/Microsoft products including Active Directory and Office365
  • Experience in relational databases and SQL including a working knowledge of reporting from databases.

UI/UX Designer

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX designer to join our fast-paced product development organization. This position will be a key member of the infotainment team, supporting new product development in in-vehicle infotainment.

Who you are:

Highly motivated, fast paced, detail oriented, creative UI/UX designer with proven experience creating user-minded, graphical experiences that simplify the complex, and surprise and delight drivers.

 

What you will do:

·Support the product and engineering team with front-end UI/UX design for in-vehicle infotainment systems to include basic entertainment features, and vehicle-specific features including climate control, drivetrain, safety systems, diagnostics, IOT and more

·Translate feature sets into user flows, and create final concepts for infotainment products

·Draft and present proposals and/or wireframes that includes graphics and text

·Perform user testing, and research to identify optimization opportunities within the platform’s experience

·Support an extensive product roadmap to ensure timely product launches, adhering to strict quality and usability standards

·Manage the implementation of the front-end interface, collaborating with internal and external back-end engineers

 

Requirements:

·4+ years experience with relevant portfolio

·Bachelors degree in Interaction Design or equivalent design-related field

·Highly proficient in relevant design tools and software including: Adobe CS, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, MockFlow, Axure, Sketch, InVision Studio
