Accounting Director

The Director of Accounting is responsible for monitoring the revenue and expenses of AAMP Global. This position oversees and manages month end close, including review of the balance sheet and income statement accounts. This position works in collaboration with executive team members to achieve strategic initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the monthly close process including review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and the income statement.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Create and maintain monthly reports to compare and analyze actual results with budgets, forecasts, and previous results
  • Collaborate with various department leaders to identify cost savings and increase profitability
  • Work with department leaders to be a point of contact and resource to solve issues
  • Manages the production of budgets and forecasts, schedules expenditures, analyzes variances, and initiates corrective actions.
  • Assist with the integration of acquisitions
  • Implement and streamline ERP and Business Applications.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards and technical accounting research
  • Issues timely and complete financial statements, including balance sheets, cash flow statements, and profit and loss statements
  • Coordinates the preparation of external monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Assists the external auditors with the annual audit
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of Accounting systems and supporting databases and troubleshoots/fixes system issues
  • Training and Supporting team members in the use of financial systems
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of a variety of financial concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Must have excellent computer and technical skills, especially Excel, and proficiency using various software systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong personal image and poise
  • Strength in dealing with peer groups and senior executives
  • Demonstrate competence in decision making
  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Experience managing financial ERP systems and applications.
  • Proficient in Excel.

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Accounting or Finance related field
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in comparable field or position

Director of Product Development - Infotainment

The Director of Product Development will be responsible for leading the New Product Development Infotainment Team creating product roadmaps, business planning, cost analysis, and reporting on progress with inputs from various contributing groups at AAMP Global. This position will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Technical Support departments for product requirements, maintenance, and opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Idealization Lead for aftermarket Infotainment and Advanced Integration products
  • Ensure efficient and effective launch from product conception through commercialization
  • Oversee, support, and continuously improve processes including but not limited to APQP, Gantts, and general reporting
  • Lead Infotainment and Advanced Integration development teams
  • Collaborate with and coordinate technical and scheduling matters for both internal and external Engineering teams
  • Manage multiple product lines across all Infotainment-Centric categories
  • Create product and financial planning business plans to drive 3–5-year product roadmaps
  • Lead trainings in support of new product launches for Sales, Marketing, Tech Support, and customers.
  • Manage global vendor relationships and work with overseas suppliers in real-time

  • Must have a proven track record of product development project management with conclusive results.

We are currently seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our engineering team. As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you are responsible for the design, development and validation of the next generation of in-vehicle electronic solutions and infrastructure.

 

What you are signing up for…
The position will be based in our Clearwater, FL headquarters reporting to the Director of Engineering. The person in this job will be primarily responsible for firmware development of after-market automotive electronic products in the infotainment or safety space. This includes products related to vehicle headunit\radio replacement, audio interfacing, vehicle camera systems, and\or smart device connectivity.

 

In this role, you will analyze product requirements, select appropriate technologies, determine OEM vehicle systems interfacing requirements, develop embedded hardware and software solutions, and perform in-vehicle testing. This position is best suited for a motivated individual, who enjoys collaborating with a close-knit, skilled, multi-discipline, small to medium sized engineering team and thrives on solving problems and learning new technologies. You work well with others but are self-sufficient and leverage your engineering experience to architect and develop quality products and encourage others by example. You are driven by the need to ‘wear many hats’ and enjoy being exposed to wide ranging technologies like MCU development, audio processing, video systems, RF technologies, databases, PC applications, mobile applications and more.

 

Key Responsibilities:
▪ Work closely with the Product Management group to determine project requirements and priorities

Product Manager - Car Audio

The Audio Product Manager will be primarily responsible for creating cutting edge audio product concepts, roadmaps, and business planning timelines. This role will proactively report on product and project progresses with inputs from various contributing groups at AAMP Global. What you will do

  • Oversee our owned eCommerce websites, managing user experience, and using analytics and on-site behavior to continually optimize the sites

  • Create content executed across multiple channels to drive awareness, demand, and loyalty

Requirements

  • 6+ years eCommerce experience with a focus on organic growth
  • Proven experience growing organic traffic and conversions among those audiences
  • Experience managing eCommerce product sites (Shopify experience a plus) with a proven ability to utilize metrics and digital tactics to grow and convert site visitors
  • In-depth understanding of SEO and website management (including leveraging optimization and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, heatmapping tools, and more)
  • Strong writing skills, with experience transforming technical product features into consumer benefits

UI/UX Designer

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our fast-paced product development organization. This position will be a key member of the infotainment team, supporting new product development in in-vehicle infotainment.

What you will do:

·Support the product and engineering team with front-end UI/UX design for in-vehicle infotainment systems to include basic entertainment features, and vehicle-specific features including climate control, drivetrain, safety systems, diagnostics, IOT and more

·Translate feature sets into user flows, and create final concepts for infotainment products

·Draft and present proposals and/or wireframes that includes graphics and text
