Car Audio Product Manager

AAMP Global, designer and manufacturer of aftermarket and OEM vehicle technology, is looking for a Product Manager to join its global high performance integrated audio team. Stinger and AudioControl are iconic brands in the car audio space, and behind the brands we have a team of audiophiles, meticulously designing and engineering speakers, subs, amps, and other audio accessories and components. Giving drivers worldwide, studio quality sound in any vehicle on the road.


An integral part of the audio team, the Product Manager will be responsible for managing multiple new product development projects ranging from vehicle-integrated audio products to audio installation accessories. Reporting to the VP of Integrated Audio, this role will be key to the success of the next phase of the product roadmap.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): product design, active collaboration with engineering resources, project management, product evaluation and testing, global vendor management, assist with manuals and internal training, and working with internal teams such as sales, training, and marketing to ensure successful product launch.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience and passion for car audio – understanding of the technology behind the products, and able to transform market needs to products and solutions
  • Experience and understanding of vehicle electronic systems, integration technologies, and related installation methodology
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Firm understanding of project design to ensure efficient and effective launch from product conception through commercialization

  • Interacts with other functional groups, customers and vendors to coordinate technical and schedule matters and to successfully launch projects on time.


What you will need…

  • 5+ years relevant experience working with car audio products and global manufacturing factories
  • Must have a proven track record of product development project management with conclusive results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with peers in cross functional areas; work cooperatively with management

Customer Solutions Specialist

The Customer Solutions Specialist is responsible for providing high-level customer service to both external and internal customers. Specialists provide customers with in-depth knowledge of company products and promotions. This role is part of an effective and collaborative team in order to process customer orders or returns according to the established company policies and procedures. The CS Specialist will also assist inbound callers to either route them to the correct extension or assist with their inquiries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sales teams to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Provide out of office coverage with CS team for Sales Staff.
  • Exceed customer service expectations with timely and accurate responses to requests.
  • Assist any CS team member with workload overflow.
  • Invoice processed return authorizations per established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Technical Services department to resolve customer service related issues.

We are currently seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our engineering team. As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you are responsible for the design, development and validation of the next generation of in-vehicle electronic solutions and infrastructure.


What you are signing up for…
The position will be based in our Clearwater, FL headquarters reporting to the Director of Engineering. The person in this job will be primarily responsible for firmware development of after-market automotive electronic products in the infotainment or safety space. This includes products related to vehicle headunit\radio replacement, audio interfacing, vehicle camera systems, and\or smart device connectivity.


In this role, you will analyze product requirements, select appropriate technologies, determine OEM vehicle systems interfacing requirements, develop embedded hardware and software solutions, and perform in-vehicle testing. This position is best suited for a motivated individual, who enjoys collaborating with a close-knit, skilled, multi-discipline, small to medium sized engineering team and thrives on solving problems and learning new technologies. You work well with others but are self-sufficient and leverage your engineering experience to architect and develop quality products and encourage others by example. You are driven by the need to ‘wear many hats’ and enjoy being exposed to wide ranging technologies like MCU development, audio processing, video systems, RF technologies, databases, PC applications, mobile applications and more.

IT Systems Engineer

We are currently seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join a dynamic and visionary global IT department. As the IT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for a wide range of IT infrastructure activities, the implementation of special projects as well as support of the daily business, network and systems via the Service desk. The IT Systems Engineer works closely with the Director of Infrastructure & Cybersecurity to define the processes across the global organization. This position monitors AAMP’s customer facing websites, performs server maintenance and troubleshoots any issues.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide desktop support to users at AAMP Global including but not limited to hardware, phone issues, and software
  • Manage all aspects of the Onboarding and offboarding experience of all users
  • Maintain our Microsoft Active Directory servers and replication
  • Deploy and troubleshooting new and existing networks (mainly Cisco and Meraki vendor hardware)
  • Lead in installing, administering, and managing hardware, software, and peripheral components
  • Lead in maintaining our Avaya VoIP telecom system with 3rd party vendor support
  • Deploy and maintain our server infrastructure across all locations
  • Maintaining and supporting IT applications and licensing in both Cloud and On Premise
  • Help improve functionality, and eliminate redundancies across the company.

  • Report & Analyze campaign and KPI performance data and provide recommendations for optimization

Who You Are?

  • 2+ Year experience with developing, monitoring, and optimizing campaigns across Google ads manager, Amazon paid ads, and Meta (Facebook) adverting
  • 2+ Year experience with conducting keyword research and analysis utilizing research tools like SEMRush, Moz, Ahrefs, or similar
